Last week I wrote about making one better choice at a time consistently, to improve your eating and therefore your health. TRANSFORMING PATTERNS OF ACTION is changing patterns or habits in our life. We run on autopilot most of the time just doing what we've always done. Well if we've always made poor food choices we'll keep doing it unless we actively work to alter our patterns. There are 5 steps to changing patterns. 1) Make the decision to change. 2) Identify your reasons to change and write them down. 3) Identify three food changes you need to make and write them down. 4) Identify three new patterns that are in line with your goal. 5) Read what you've written first thing in the morning and again at night each and every day until that pattern has been busted.
