How many times have you said that? During the shut down and Safer at Home Order, and now the new normal. we all have a lot more time on our hands. Self-Care is what you must do for yourself on a regular basis to keep your mind, body, and spirit healthy and functioning at your highest level, which nobody else can do for you. Some examples of Self Care are yoga, strength training , sports, gardening, running, aerobics, meditating, and many others. Many you perform on your own. You may need instruction initially and then proceed on your own. However in many cases people choose to use a coach to keep things fresh, stimulating and productive on an ongoing basis.
The purpose of a coach is to unlock people's potential and maximize their own performance and results. Job applicants, executives, athletes, goal oriented people and spiritual people are just a few examples of how coaching is used in people's lives. The common thread is having a knowledgeable third party observing, informing and motivating the person to achieve what they may not or could not do on their own.
Accountability and encouragement
Accountability is taking responsibility for one's actions, obliged to report, and being answerable for one's actions. We do this with ourselves to reach our goals in life. But human nature being what it is, in some cases we need to be accountable to someone other than ourselves.
